Perfomance Issue in GTFO

Hello, I've recent playing a lot more of this game called GTFO recently but I've noticed that I would get very low frame rate at certain parts and struggle to get above 60 fps at others, even after I lowered all settings I can't get a staple 100+ FPS. My system is newly built in September 2023, so I don't think it is bad hardware, and its specs is above the recommended specs listed on Steam, I decided to use 3D mark to benchmark my system. Got a score a bit below average but I heard a lot people use 3D mark to benchmark their overclock so I don't think I should worry about it. I'm wondering if the game is just poorly optimized or is there actually something wrong with my system.
