I have a 10900k, and the socket on my motherboard has a single bent or broken pin. I can't see the issue exactly as I don't have any sort of magnifying glass. I was trying to fix it with a pin but the issue still persists. If Ram slots one or two is occupied the computer turns on but does not post. My options are to keep poking at it or to just use slots three and four. How bad is it to run in just slots three and four?

If the pin in question is related to the memory controller, which it sounds like it is, you're going to want to try to bend it back. If you can't, replace the board. You'll likely see other memory related issues such as crashing programs and games, or blue screens if you continue to use it with the bent pin. You'll want to run the modules in dual channel, so slots 2 and 4 or sometimes 1 and 3. You won't be in dual channel if they're in slots 3 and 4.
