This new PC will be able to do most games on 1080p ranging from Low to high Graphics Settings and will pair really well with the Monitors that you already have.

I have been building PCs for over 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. For future communication I use Discord for much faster response times as I have it open 24/7. Here is my Discord: Wizardsnapper#2772 I am also available if you need help before, during, or after the Build process on Discord through Voice or Video Chat. I can be with you while you build your new PC if you need me to be.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor  (€97.90 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS WIFI II Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  (€130.00 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Memory: Silicon Power GAMING 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory  (€39.99 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Storage: Kingston NV2 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  (€63.90 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Video Card: XFX GTR XXX Radeon RX 580 8 GB Video Card  (€149.00 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Case: Tecware Forge M MicroATX Mini Tower Case  (€45.99 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Power Supply: EVGA 500 BQ 500 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply  (€65.75 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Total: €592.53

Couple of things there:

First: The Kingston NV2 drive is a gambler's drive. You don't know what you will get exactly when you buy it. It's offered with different controllers and memory chips and its performance and reliability can range from "awesome for the money" to "complete garbage; would've been better with an old school SATA SSD with DRAM".

Second: €130 for B550 mobo when it's gonna run the slowest Ryzen 5000 CPU is a complete overkill. With what is basically a 35W processor, it can safely drop down to B450M mobo like the Asus Prime B450M-A II and still be more than enough.

Third: RX 580 in 2024 ??? The 6650XT is just €100 more, but drags it all across the ring.

And fourth and final - 500W PSU??? Yes it's a low power system, but for the same money a 650W is a no-brainer.

If he wants to scrape the bottom of the barrel with brand new stuff, there is a better way:

However, i still would preffer the 2nd hand route with B550+5600x+6700XT.

Budget (including currency): 1200 Euro

Country: Germany(amazon) don't know any other stores that have great parts selection and normal pricing

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: playing Fortnite, Valorant

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I want to build 2 gaming PCs for my two sons. So 600 euro for each. They already have both a 24" 144 Refresh rate Monitor and i want to change out their old PCs.

Here are the stats of the old PCs:

PC1:

- nvidia GTX 950

- 8GB Ram 1333 Mhz

- intel i7-3770 @ 3.40 Ghz

PC2:

- nvidia GTX 1050ti

- 8gb Ram 933 Mhz

- amd FX(tm) 6300 Six core processor

Any help with a parts list that i can replicate on amazon would be really nice and appreciated.

2nd hand is you only choice here. Something with 5600 + B550 mobo + 16GB DDR4 + 6700XT/6750XT. For €600 new with our disgusting EU prices you can't get anything descent. To look for the correct prices, here is a little guideline:

5600 (non-X) + boxed cooler should be around €75-€85, but often can be found for €65.

B550M Mobo - €60-€80 depending on the tier.

16GB DDR5 3200MHz CL16 - €25; no need here for fancy stuff. Just make sure it's 2x8GB and not one single stick of 16GB. Dual Channel is vital.

6700XT/6750XT - €250-€300 depending on the model and remaining warranty.

PSU - buy new. Like SeaSonic G12 GN-650W

Storage - buy new 2TB Team Group MP33 Gen3 NVMe drive

Case - whatever can fit the remaining budget.

Similar to this build should be right around €600. If you can haggle well, it will certainly be under €600 per system. For the PSU i'm saying buy new, because they usually hold unreasonably high 2nd hand price. Similar SeaSonic or Corsair unit will cost more than €60, when it should be under €50. Lesser brands are not worth takin the risk. As for storage, always buy new when it's about to be the only storage device in the system.

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |

Mindfactory, Alternate

Both can have better prices than Amazon, especially on more expensive parts like CPU, GPU and motherboard

However, i still would preffer the 2nd hand route with B550+5600x+6700XT.

This is pretty solid for a new build but it would be worth the OP spending more on a R5 5600 , The 16MB of cache in the R5 5500 really kills its potential.

I would even debate whether dropping to a RX6600 would be worth it to get the R5 5600.

The difference between RX6600 and RX 6650XT is much bigger (on average 20%+) than the difference between the R5 5500 and the R5 5600 (on average 7-8%) on both 1080p and 1440p. However that doesn't change the fact that 2nd hand system for that budget offers A LOT more performance and is the best value.
