I am looking for a GPU upgrade so that I can play Horizon Forbidden West when it releases on PC. I am wanting to spend between $200 and $300, but I might spend a bit more if I can't find anything that works. PSU wattage isn't a problem, I recently got a 850w psu from a friend in preparation for this upgrade.

These are the two I am currently looking at, but I want advice weather they are a good deal.

I am upgrading from a GTX 760. (Understandable if you had to google it)

If you're on a tight budget, the 7600 XT 16GB is widely available new around $300. When new, 6700 XT and 6800 are getting scarce and prices are creeping up.

From a GTX 760, even a 6600 non-XT would be a massive upgrade.

How does the 7600xt compair to the 6700xt and 6800xt, Also I am willing to buy used if It means a decent increase in FPS over what I could afford new.

The 6800 is on par with most other used listings. If I had to choose I'd go for that, remember with facebook marketplace you can haggle. See if they'll take $300 for it, if not $325, etc. The cheapest used one I could find on eBay was $339.99 before tax and shipping. However, any of them would be a massive improvement over what you have currently.

Thanks, I will see if they accept that.

7600xt is about the same as 6650xt so still roughly 30% slower than 6700xt with also less VRAM.

6800XT is significantly faster card than either of those.

it depends if OP wants to play Russian roulette each time they are playing a game (will it have lot of fps or barely enough?)

It is a corsiar RM850, white theme. Better than the 500w EVGA one that I was using.

you just dont

okay, still Intell has tendency to occasionally lose 100fps on same game against a similarly priced GPU as far as I remember, even with driver updates
