I upgraded my case and wanted to test my system, I ran a 3D Mark benchmark and my GPU score dropped 1600 points? My temps are better as well in the next run, any idea what happened?

All stock settings / configurations, no over-clocking

Could've been something else running in the background which negatively affected the result. That's why you generally repeat a benchmark multiple times and look at the average, since there will always be some variance. Either from the benchmark itself or other processes running the background.

The only thing I can think of would be worse airflow negatively affecting cooling. Don't see how the case should affect it in any other way.

To be fair, best to worst is only a 4% difference.
