I think i need something smaller since i dont have a lot of space on the desk. i need them to fit under the monitor which is mounted against the wall (6.5-7inchs).
I saw some audioengine speakers that would fit. what do you think of them? (audioengine 2+, found a deal for 125$)

I like them, they're not bad at all.

If you have space limitations like that you'll have to compromise.  6 inch tall speakers don't give you much room to choose.

Hey guys, I want to buy a set of speakers and i have no clue which one is better. Please help me out.
I have around 200-250$ budget.
I saw the following speakers that caught my atention:
- Logitech Z407, Z553, G560.
- Razer Nommo v2 (the ones with the subwoofer).
- Some sets from Edifier.
If you could help me pick from one of those and/or give me other ideas that you think are better i would highly appreciate it!

No on Logitech and Razer.

For 2.1, get the Klipsch ProMedia set.  For 2.0, get any powered studio monitors from Edifier, Mackie, PreSonus, etc etc.

Logitech makes midrange stuff at best, and for your budget you can do much better.

No, the studio monitors come with their won built-in amps.  hence "powered"  🙂

Also, with a 5 (or 4.5") inch set, you don't need a sub.  There is plenty of quality low frequencies.   Unless you just want some booming bass, that is.  But you're not buying PC speakers for that then.
