Does lubing w/out desoldering lube springs?

My adventures in mechanical keyboards continue! I think I need to lube my springs to get rid of some awful ping, but my switches are not hot swappable, which would mean that the traditional way would require desoldering (can't do myself). I put some acoustic foam in the back, and while it's helped, there's still noticeable ping.

I came across this tutorial for lubing switches without desoldering. Would this lube the springs as well? I'm particularly interested in the "pull-stem" method as it seems cleaner, even though it takes more time. The spray method seems too messy.

Unless you pour so much that it actually makes a pool of lube inside the switch, no.

You can try to lube the switches by applying a little bit of a low-viscosity lube, like super lube, to the switch by pressing the moving part down and injecting a drop or two of lube into the housing. Then actuate the switch a lot and hard to distribute the lubricant in the switch.

You might need quite a lot and it won't be very consistent, but with enough lube it should take care of the spring pin.
