Whole setup suddenly lagging and slow after mobo-change

So you're saying that this could be the problem?

Yeah, it would be my first guess. You're symptoms are weird, your OS works but it works badly.

You could check your Ram with Testmem5 or better Memtest86.

You could check your SSD with CrystalDiskInfo and CrystalDiskMark.

My recent motherboard (ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-Plus DDR5) that I have changed out for a new one (MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk WIFI), since there had been a short in the rear I/O and thus fried all of the USBs and not allowing to boot. Now that I have changed my motherboard, everything became worse. Suddenly games have enourmous input-lag, sometimes taking several seconds before keys are registered, games loading longer than usual, freezing of screens and many more things. I just want to try and understand what is going wrong, since the input-lag really makes gaming unenjoyable.

Here are my full specs:

Intel Core i9-13900k

64GB 5200MHz (not on XMP, so on 4800MHz) DDR5 from Corsair

ASUS TUF RTX 4070 Ti

MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk WIFI Motherboard

850W Corsair PSU

Hope someone could help!

Ok, thank you. I will do that, and if it works, I'll tell it.
