Need feedback on a part list I put together.

So if you saw or replied to my first two posts you will know that my friend and I have been working on putting together a part list on a build my friend and I came up with. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3OoGQ

Another thing is, even though it doesn't look like it will need it, that i want to know if the build is capable of overclocking.

Oh dear I have a lot of things I don't like about that. What is your buddy using it for?

Here is a revised list

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3Ov9c

This is a gaming oriented build but if this is not for gaming I can simply alter the peripherals.

You will notice I left out headphones. I did this because your friend is better off saving money for a pair of AD-700x and a modmic. Razer headsets suck balls and anything less than a good pair of headphones is simply not worth the money. Go out and buy a cheap pair of ear buds to hold you over until you can upgrade. I cannot emphasize the importance of good headphones enough.

not really like it, for the money we can probably improve it.

First off, the CPU is pretty weak, and their graphics are not going to cut much through much gaming.

The case is not really that well ventilated, a overclocked gaming system will need better airflow,

Finally the PSU, while it's a good unit, can be smaller, and cheaper for the build.

Personally, I think he should be getting a Logitech MK 120 combo (keyboard+mouse) and stick with that until he gets more money, so part of his current budget can go to the rest of the system.
