Please make a real, descriptive thread title in the future, you'll have a better chance of getting useful help that way. At this very moment there are multiple threads on this forum simply entitled "Bruh".

First thing to try would be a direct display connection without adapters on top of adapters.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

DVI carries both analog and digital signals, but on different pins. (The analog pins are the four around the + in the connector.)

VGA is an analog interface. HDMI is digital-only.

Your VGA to DVI adapter just connects the VGA pins to the analog pins on the DVI side.

I'm sure the DVI to HDMI adapter doesn't convert the analog signals to digital, it just connects the digital DVI pins to the correct HDMI pins.

You need a VGA to HDMI analog-to-digital scaler to make a VGA output work on your monitor's HDMI input. (Those cheap "VGA to HDMI adapter" cables will not work, because they're designed to shove HDMI over cabling built into walls for projectors.)

If your video card has a digital output of any kind (DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI) you're better off connecting to that instead.

VGA to what? To a DVI adapter, and then to an HDMI adapter?

The 1050 ti surely has HDMI, and the monitor clearly does as well, so is there a reason you can't simply use an HDMI cable? Why are we fiddling with all these adapters in the first place?

VGA will never drive an HDMI display through passive adapters. You need a scaler or analog-to-digital converter.

Doesn't your 1050 have a digital output?

Should i get an actual vga to hdmi cable?

Why, exactly, are you averse to just using HDMI to HDMI?

Because my monitor is just vga.

That's an important detail you should've included in your first post. 😉

If your video card has a DVI-I port (with four pins near the -- shaped blade on one side), you can use a passive DVI to VGA adapter and a VGA cable to connect your monitor.

If your video card only has HDMI and/or DisplayPort, you'll need an active adapter like one of these:
