iPhone 5c jailbreaking

So I just repaired my old iPhone 5c (battery and screen replacement) because I wanted to try out checkra1n but silly me didn’t check to see if checkra1 supports the 5c. It does not. So now I need help to figure out another good jailbreaking software. I would prefer something closer to the tethered side but any type really works. I am new to jailbreaking so I would like to to be relatively intuitive. 
 

As a thing it think you guys would like here is an image or the original battery from the phone, it is not swelling, I just messed up when removing it. And yes I will be taking it somewhere to get it properly recycled or disposed of if recycling is not possible.image.thumb.jpg.6a6886581bb98f5218d44358b711bf2f.jpg
