help, headset mic picking game audio

Hi, i am having trouble with my headset mic picking up the loud game sounds (like others speaking or shooting), i believe it is because they are fiscally attached, i was planning to buy a separate dynamic mic like the podmic with an audio interface, or something cheaper like a usb one like the Q2U but since i don't wanna waste my many in something that isn't gonna fix the issue, and ending not using it, came here to ask if someone knows exactly what the problem could be and how to fix it, or if what i set will fix it. My headset is the cooler master MH751

Also if the sound is travelling through the body of the headset to the mic, are there other headsets that don't have that problem?

There is a high likelihood that it is the cable and connector being a naturally flawed design.  The issue is that the mic and headphones share a ground so at higher volumes it feeds back or rather bleeds through the ground.  This is what I've been told but I've experienced it multiple times.

 

I have a feeling that it could be fixed with a better cable and have talked to the people at hart audio cables about making me a custom cable to see if it solves the problem.

 

But the fool proof way is to ditch the 4-pole/trrs connection entirely and use a completely separate mic whether that's with something like an antlion modmic, usb stand alone mic or an xlr mic with an interface.

ohhh, that is new info, so if sharing ground is the reason, there is no headset mic combo that will be immune to that, since the jack doesn't has a second ground for the mic, so no sharing it is not an option, or?

I don't know all of the ins and outs of this phenomena but it is inherent with the cable design yes.  I would imagine that a higher quality cable could reduce this issue but I haven't tested it.  The only way to make sure it doesn't happen is to have two separate systems.
