How to clean a tempered glass side panel?

Go to solution Solved by Ottoman420,

2 microfibre cloths and glass cleaner works for me.

1st dry wipe 2nd spray glass cleaner and wipe 3rd wipe with dry cloth. Repeat until you cant see fingerprints anymore

I’m gonna be selling my 4000D airflow and to make it as clean as I can I’ve been dusting it and cleaning the fans but u was wondering how to clean a tempered glass side panel? I know that you shouldn’t use just water and that a micro fibre cloth should be used but that’s about it. Anyone got any suggestions?

i use this (also for my monitor)

https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Blum-Manufaktur-Screen-Cleaner-250/dp/B089RLPQ52

god tier screen cleaner.

no dry wipe, cause that would only scratch stuff.

ps: if it's really dusty you can use a very soft microfiber cloth first to remove the dust gently.

I’ll try both of these and get back to you guys. Btw @Mark Kaine me and my family are aiming to spend the least amount of money rn (ik, sounds silly from someone who has a 3060) so we won’t buy that product right away but thanks! I’ll defo put that in my wish list and probs buy it once I’ve got the money coming in from selling my parts

@Ottoman420 I have all those so I’ll try that rn. Then if that doesn’t work I’ll go with mark’s. Thanks guys!

mark raises a good point, make sure the microfibre cloths are clean free of objects that can scratch the glass

I usually use screen cleaner or lens cleaner with microfiber cloth cause I wear glass.

But better set your expectations, cause no matter how clean it is, it will magically get a speck of dust out of nowhere, even after you put it on the case box

I’m fine with that I just don’t want people to see all my fingerprints as soon as they open the case box, also I’m marking it as used (cuz it is) so even their expectations shouldn’t be set too high

i mean microfiber + glass cleaner should work well too and only cost a couple of bucks... if all fails microfiber + warm water, just make sure the cloth is actually clean beforehand.

for glass maybe, but I'd be careful if there are metal parts (vinegar can discolor metal)
