Thermaltake V1 - RTX 3060 12 GB 2x - concerned with width

Go to solution Solved by TatamiMatt,

From the look of this screenshot (included at end) the extra 1.5mm are on the side of the card that shouldnt matter. The V1 says it can take weird measurement (or standard 2 slot), so id wager its saying that the card cant drop below its 2 slots at that will hit the sides of the case but in this GPUs case the extra 1.5mm looks like its here;

That being said, if its bigger than listed spec, its always going to be a risk to buy

EDIT: The gigabyte windforce OC 12gb from microcentre is $10 cheaper, 1mm thinner and clocked at 30MHz higher if that suits your need better?

Though it doesnt fit in the inner chassis as its longer but it fits in the outer chassis so shouldnt be any issue

EDIT 2: Microcentres page is wrong after a little bit of digging, the gigabyte windforce OC card is showing stats for the gaming OC

The true sepcs for it is 15MHz lower clock speed and sizing is as follows;

L=198 W=121 H=39 mm

So its quite a bit smaller than the MSI card

I'm considering purchasing an RTX 3060 12GB card (https://www.microcenter.com/product/633840/msi-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-ventus-2x-overclocked-dual-fan-12gb-gddr6-pcie-40-graphics-card)

I see the width of the card is 42 and the Thermaltake docs say 40.64.  (https://www.thermaltake.com/core-v1.html)

Just curious if anyone happens to have this combo and i might be able to squeeze the card in. So close...

Thank you! The Windforce looks like it will work. Much appreciated!
