Will a vs450 grey label be enough for a 3060 ti and a r5 3600?

Amaz0nalexa

I am currently using a 1050 ti and a r5 3400g and i am looking to upgrade to maybe a r5 5600 or r5 3600 (both 65w) and maybe a 3060 ti. I am just wondering whether my PSU would be enough (450w VS450 grey label) to use this combo.

Technically yes but the vs series is a pretty bad psu quality wise basically doing the may protect your hardware once and then dies forever.

If recplace it if possible.

Also get a 5600 no point in going to a 3600 really.

As for 3060ti a 6700xt/6750xt is normally cheaper AND faster.

I would opt for a psu upgrade before cpu upgrade just to be safe

Newer VS series is fine, it’s not fancy but they work. I’d look into a psu upgrade but as is the vs450 will do that combo fine.

VS is group regulated and has a terrible voltage regulation. It's not a bomb but it can cause stability issues.
