Depends on whether or not you need the extra threads. What kind of content are you working on?

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/
Also, make sure to quote a post or tag a member when replying or else they won't get a notification that you replied to them.

Nothing much. Like youtube videos, photoshop, some after effects, and a little coding possibly. Probably just the 4670k will suffice I'm guessing

Should be fine with the 4670k in that case.

Go with a less expensive motherboard, motherboard doesn't impact performance, that money can be better used elsewhere in your build.  Also, RAM speed has very little effect on performance, go with some 1600mhz, 9-9-9-24, 1.5v RAM.  Also, you could go with a less expensive/powerful PSU.  550W of Bronze or better is enough for a single CPU and GPU.  Take all of that money you saved and get a GTX 780 or i7-4770k.

Unless you are doing professional work, or really want to cut down on rendering times, the i5 will perform adequately.
