So this one is better and just swap the storage and add the monitor that @Dedayog recommended?

it's cheaper, here's what the build would be good with, you could swap the ram with similar speed if you find cheaper or better looking for you

as for the monitor, it's good to ask in Displays sub-topic about that, but if you're not a color sensitive person, all you need to look out for is specs, and maybe the reviews: ( @Dedayog's monitor sounds decent spec wise, but be assured he just found a random 1440p 1ms 180Hz monitor and slapped it on the list)

Budget (including currency): $1800-2000

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I will only use it for gaming. Games that I have in mind to play are LoL, Valorant, COD, BG3, Cyberpunk, Persona

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hi, this will be my first desktop or tower PC. I would like to have like a small PC because my room is small and the table that I have is small also. I will be upgrading from my laptop Dynabook A40 that I got years ago (Used to be my laptop for college), I only play League on it and its been lagging bad now. I already have a mouse but no I don't have a keyboard so I will also need that. I would love to play 1440p 165hz or more any recommendation would be great! I have a 1080p 60hz portable monitor that I used with the Dynabook that I can use as a second monitor. I would like to buy it this weekend or next week. Thank you!

Got a Microcenter nearby?

If not, I would consider using all your budget for a top end machine (since it's within reach)...  Cut back the GPU to a 7900XT to save $200 if you want.

Case is a placeholder, and you can get a microATX board if you really need it to be small.

Others can clarify the monitor, but you should  be able to get one under $200 1440p/165+.  The one I added is 180Hz and low response, but there may be better...

So this one is better and just swap the storage and add the monitor that @Dedayog recommended?

it's cheaper, here's what the build would be good with, you could swap the ram with similar speed if you find cheaper or better looking for you

as for the monitor, it's good to ask in Displays sub-topic about that, but if you're not a color sensitive person, all you need to look out for is specs, and maybe the reviews: ( @Dedayog's monitor sounds decent spec wise, but be assured he just found a random 1440p 1ms 180Hz monitor and slapped it on the list)

no problem, if you have any questions about the build or any components or if XYZ component could work instead, feel free to ask

Hi, yes this is too much for my budget and it doesn't have a monitor as well. I am also planning to get a keyboard so this is too much for me. But thank you for recommending. A white build looks awesome though!

No prob 🙂

I 100% agree with @podkall's build, it's great. But my favorite build of all time is this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bcNWKX

Not low end at all, but not the VERY best.

Here's that build with a 1440p monitor and peripherals: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yzHTjH

Includes my favorite keyboard too. It's not too expensive and has nice switches (gateron yellows)

It's also hot swappable and supports 5 pin switches so if you ever get into mechanical keyboards and modding, its an incredible starter board. I have one and I put some Akko V3 Cream Blues on it. Sounds really good.

it's a good build, there's just lot of "compromisable luxury", like the parts work, but there are cheaper alternatives, not saying it's bad, there's few or several upsites on using higher priced/spec components

though Crucial P3 is the odd one out, for this kind of build where spending isn't an issue I'd get something better

Well, I went with the P3 because I was trying to make a build that was within OP's budget but like I mentioned, I went "a little overkill."
