Your hostname DNS resolver is not working or something else is bugged. Find the devices IPV4 address and connect using that using the same syntax

I have problem connecting to my network drive, Its a Seagate Central. Its shows in file explorer, but cannot access it

You should also make sure your settings for that network are set to 'Private' and not 'Public'.

have you entered the adress manually on any of the two?.. pc or NAS?

what is your network adress settings. subnetmask and gateway on both devices.

is netbios over IP set?. does your NAS support netbios? i see you can see it over netbios as it's trying to access the OEM name..

Hmmm, running out of ideas here.

Open windows terminal (admin) and type arp -a

This will show you a list of your network's arp table that shows IP and Mac addresses currently linked to your network.

Look on the back of your Seagate and match the MAC address with the correct IP address listed within the terminal window.

Then type 'Ping 192.x.y.z' where x, y and z are the correct numbers specific to your Seagate.

If you get a ping reply showing 0% loss then at least your NAS is reachable.
