laptop Best picks for slim/light laptop

Hey guys, for a bit of context, I am a casual gamer who used to play 2 to 3 times per week casual egames and AAA on a Lenovo legion I5. Nowadays I play mainly on consoles so my laptop primary use is mainly for working (office, light programming, emailing) and light gaming on the go when traveling. 

 

 

It's a big and heavy laptop so I'm selling it in order to get something more optimize for traveling (my back would appreciate). Which options are available that are slim/light that also pack a punch for casual gaming (Ready or Not, The finals, forza motorsport). My budget is up to 2000$.

 

I'm looking for that bang for the buck or price/value ratio. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

What weight are you targeting? What's light to some is heavy to others.

What GPU are you ok with?

Gaming on the go is going to take a weight penalty no matter how you cut it.

Ideally under 2kgs. I understand is not going to be the fastest or powerfull gpu/cpu. It's more intended for working rather than gaming, and the gaming part is more casual.

Lenovo has a legion slim 5 for a slim 16 inch laptop or even the legion slim 5 (14") for the 14 inch version, other than that there is also zephyrus g14, alienware x14.

Oh that's not bad. Lenovo makes a light version of the Legion if you liked that, Dell XPS laptops are fairly light in the 14" version.
