39% memory usage?

I put one of my games to the test and have built more buildings and added more enemies than ever before and for the first time ever, I'm getting significant slow down. According to my task manager;

• GPU; 3%
• CPU; 19%
• Memory; 39%

 

Is it possible I need more ram? And the game is Riftbreaker. If it's as simple as going from 32 ram to 64 ram, then that works. But wanted to post because this forum has steered me away from some bad buys in the past. My hardware should be listed in my signature.

@CuriousBro  39% usage of 32 GB still keeps plenty. In most games if you add more entities, the game is going to lag. It is not your PC, it is the game's optimization. Although, is the 3% GPU usage you said when idle or when running the game?

Must have been a glitch. Right after I posted, I let the game run during battle and it peaked at 72%.

That still keeps a lot of RAM free. It has to be the game itself.

Windows will cache things in RAM to make your machine respond faster. If you need that RAM Windows should release it and allow what ever needs it have it.
