WoW, in 4K

Currently on an RX 6800 to an LG 27GP850 playing WoW at 1440p; I would love to play @ 4K 100Hz +.

Yes, it's not really a game that screams "Needs to be played at 4K" & may that do play other games at 4K, so it's a side bonus.

 

What is the best bang for buck graphics card/monitor combo. to achieve this...?  I'm looking for ideas so I can gauge a budget & determine if it's 'personally' viable.

I am playing it at 1440p completely maxed everything with my rig and I tried to find where lowest I can get. So in Valdrakken watching forward from mid main stairs when there are a lot of people it can stay under 60fps even with my rig. Though in general gameplay it's higher yes, though worst cases can be quite low. Ashran PvP 40v40 clash fps can tank like 40fps. 

Personally I wouldn't go 4K in your case. No point sacrificing fps for higher res especially in this game that won't benefit really.
