I have been having a memory problem with my AM5 system where the memory usage goes to 98% to 99% and my system acts very slowly. It happens with 2 different memory kits and they are both on the QVL list. Also have tried 2 different motherboards. Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX and Asus Strix X670E-E Gaming WiFi. The memory sticks are G.Skill F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR and the Corsair Dom Plats CMT64GX5M2B6000Z30. The CPU is the R9 7900X. I have checked Task Manager and chrome is the only thing using anything over 1GB RAM. I have shut every open application that loads with windows and it still happens. The memory usage happens daily and I have to reboot daily. After a reboot I am good for about 24 hours and then I have to reboot again because of the RAM usage. This happens with either the 32GB or 64GB kits. Currently have the Asus MB and the Corsair RAM installed. I just don't know whats causing the memory usage.

Reinstall Windows. I'd hazard a guess that there's either a memory leak somewhere that isn't being reported or there's a virus eating everything up. Either way a clean install and setting everything back up is almost certainly going to be easier than trying to salvage the install.

This doesn't sound like a hardware issue, chrome shouldn't be installed on a fresh install of Windows.

After arriving at the desktop after a fresh install, monitor memory usage for a while. Then start installing your software one at a time while continuing to monitor memory usage. Something you're installing, possibly even a synced Chrome extension is the culprit.

Correct. What I'm saying is directly after returning to the Windows desktop after a fresh install, monitor memory usage, it should be normal.

Then begin installing your software and you'll see where it starts to climb.

Vivaldi is another non chrome, but still Chromium browser, that is not Chinese, if you care about that.
