is bitlocker hackable if encryption is completed only 1%

i will use on external hdd i share with people

one partion is locked and other unlocked to share files

will the lock gets open if someone tries copying, so i know

or they can copy without any signs

dont have time to encrypt TB of datat now

Don't ever give people physical access to your data if you're worried about it. Get a second external HDD for sharing.

so full encryption safe? and i used high secure password

i dont have second one 

its just some pics i dont mind that much if its hacked

It should still need the bitlocker key to unlock the partition, and that will keep most people away.

 

Most of the data won't be encrypted, so data recovery tools should work on the unencrypted data, but I'd guess most people won't try those.
