better gaming pc for less

Budget (including currency): $2700 usd

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: multiplayer gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

-No parts

-I have a keyboard and headset, but no mouse or monitor. Open to suggestions!

-hoping to move on from console to my first pc

-looking to buy soon... Within a month or so.

Preferences

-FPS: i prefer performance over quality. Im happier with whatever gives me the highest and most consistent fps. If the budget can support 4k, i'll take it, but its not a priority.

-Little to no lighting: i prefer cheap when it comes to outer aesthetics like rgb lighting. Its fine if its ugly lol.

-Quiet: i play on a ps5 that had issues, so noises scare me.

-~2TB storage... not strict on that one.

-Fast load times

-An important note: if possible, i'd like to purchase it pre built from a company because im afraid to blow something up.

If theres anything i missed or worth considering, please let me know. Thank you!

Your budget is to small to not get a crappy prebuilt. Since you need a monitor and mouse you basically HAVE to go used and diy

Sorry read as 700

I'd highly recommend diy or buying parts and making someone build it (local shop)

Wow $2000 with monitor too! Btw, i forgot to mention that i was planning on buying the monitor separately down the road. What would be the first thing i should upgrade of the build you showed me? I dont know how good any part is, so i just want to have an idea for the future. Also, im hoping to not upgrade for a while, because like i said, i dont want to blow anything up. If you dont mind, could you explain why its better?

Nothing really?

Basically ask that when you run into performance issues down the road in like 3 years.

Fyi do NOT use ultra settings they offer basically no to none extra visual quality but make the game EXTREMELY hard to run.

Don't worry about blowing things up it's literally just medium hard lego's follow the manual and you are good.

As for the build.

7900xt more vram same gpu performance give or take a couple % for heaps less money

7800x3d is literally a faster gaming cpu. Also consumes like 1/4 the power and runs WAY cooler.

Went with an air cooler because thats all you need and no chance of pump dying down the line.

case already has rgb fans and better airflow

Else the parts I took are basically the there is little point spending more because things don't really matter or get better for more money kinda deal.

That build could use a few changes starting with the motherboard and RAM. You want low profile RAM with a dual tower cpu cooler so that you don't run into problems.

If you can hold on until next month the Nvidia RTX 4080 Super 20GB will be released. That card will allow you to use DLSS 3.0. Expect that card to retail for $1000 - $1200. Until then you can use the integrated graphics that come with this cpu.
