Pc 3.5mm jack not working

My PC audio jacks are malfunctioning. Upon checking in Realtek Sound, the back panel seems disabled. The front panel has a single audio jack for headphones/mic, but when I plug in my headphones, only one function operates at a time. Occasionally, the headphone speakers function, but the mic does not. Additionally, I'm seeking alternative methods for better sound quality, as the current USB sound card doesn't provide satisfactory audio quality.

If you're in USA then Apple dongle easily, if you're outside of US then Abigail Type-C dongle, both have 2v output and are equal/ better than the overwhelming majority of budget DAC's. If you're wanting a nice long term solution then Qudelix 5k or a Schiit Magni/ Modi stack depending on budget
