A Good laptop for below $400

Hello im looking for a good laptop for below $400, and i dont know where to start looking.

i need something with at least 8gb of ram and and good processer, something that isnt chrome os.

any info would be greatly appreciated

Start browsing eBay/FaceBook marketplace for old used laptops. Avoid HDD based boot drives if possible. eBay has useful filter tools. Just set your max price to $400 and start window shopping.
