Hi! I'm getting a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50's (good pick?) and I have no idea what to get with it. Currently I'm using Realtek ALC887 onboard sound and I'm happy with it, but is buying a "nice" pair of headphones a waste without a good sound card, amp, dac or whatever else I need? Please give me an honest answer but keep in mind I don't want to spend thousands of dollars. Thanks.
