Go to solution Solved by Daniel91,

270x all the way definitely worth it. I pretty sure the 265 beats a 750ti

My friend Avis wants to know if shes upgrading her motherboard and Cpu can her older card still be used for the gaming or is there a cheap card she can buy to replace her old GT 630

She got a z87 board and a i3 haswell

she should keep cpu/mobo and just upgrade the gpu actually. Maybe upgrade the i3 to an i5.

As long as the mobo has a PCIE express slot (dun dun dun  )

plus i3 + z87 combo is like last year or something, Better get a good card rather than upgrading her mobo & cpu.

750 ti would be my reccommendation for low budget gaming or an R9 270 or 280

Since the R9 270X is just $10 more, I can unequivocally say go for it. The GTX750 Ti is beaten by the R7 265, which is beaten by the R9 270 which is, in turn, beaten by the R9 270X. Only thing going for the GTX750 Ti is power efficiency and perhaps nVidia features.
