Recently bought a new GPU but I guess it's too big for my case I don't think it's getting enough room to cool down I have shared picture please suggest what should I do to get assistant womens it's sometimes get even to 88 degree Celsius. Temperature around 70 degree when I open the side panel but I can't keep that open

Couple things.

Is this GPU new or used? Could do with a clean if the latter

What GPU is it, looks like a gigabyte 3060 gaming oc

Maybe give case a little clean and clean dust filters also for better airflow into case.

Do you have many or any front case fans?

Also what case is that, doesnt look like it has great airflow in

I'm not sure if that rear fan on the case is a reverse type fan, but it looks like it's intake fan with the way its orientated. TatamiMatt asked for more information since we really can't see everything going on.

Good spot, missed that at first glance! Flipping that to exhaust if not already should help quite a bit

No... just get a new monitor that has HDMI at least, they are dirt cheap.

Ok seriously now, jokes aside.
More info needed, like others have pointed out...
Post some more pictures, is that front sealed, are there any front intake fans?
Did you check that rear fan? It should be blowing air outside, not blowing air into the the case.
Those front-side holes are tiny, not much you can do if it is a shitty case...

Amazing airflow...
It is a hotbox, run it without the side panel if you don't like the temps, or use a different case.

Reverse that, make it blow air outside...
Your PSU blows hot air outside, hot air rises which then gets blown into the case by that rear fan.
Also some of the heat from the GPU gets re-recirculated as well...

I was also thinking that it might be an air issue, it has only on intake fan at the back and nothing else and case antec vsk 10. GPU is gigabyte rtx 3060 to.

There is your problem, not enough airflow.

Also explains why removing the side case panel drops temperature by ~18*C.

With JUST the rear 120mm intake, the GPU is not getting ANY of that cool fresh air.

Blows into the CPU area, get's heat up, and out the top.

GPU dumps heat all around itself, up top (through the cut-out at the back)... not direct feed of fresh air.

Antec's recommendation for airflow.

  • Add 3x 120mm OR 2x 140mm fans to the front for air INTAKE
  • Switch the rear back in EXHAUST

Yep. Need new fans for front air intake so rest of parts can get air. 3 120mm or 2 140mm's.

Yeah... no airflow over the GPU.

You need some front air intake fans.

I'd rip off the front panel, toss some cheap fans as intake, grab a magnetic dust filter, you're off to the races.

Or get my fave case and love it like I do

Start with cleaning out the heatsink for the GPU and see what temps do..

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.
