Might be one of the more noob questions ive ever had to ask.

Right now i'm using windows AME but what i'd like is to install another vanilla copy of windows 10.

Is there some sort of weird thing with windows 10 were I can't have more than one instance of it installed on two different drives? am I going to run into some sort of secure boot problems or something?

In the past with windows 9x/xp/7 I could just install two different os drives and select which i'd like to boot from when the pc starts. is that still a thing or are computers/operating systems just worse now. Is the newer windows 10 install going to brick the original windows AME install on the other drive somehow?

I know vanilla windows 10 is a literal nightmare/dumpster fire of an os but I basically have zero choice as AME isn't compatible with a lot of drivers or video games anymore thanks to steam

Honestly. Its not that bad. Microsoft is no longer tinkering with it so its fairly stable at this point.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

This has nothing to do with your question, but have you considered installing Windows 10 LTSC?

i havent , it's just a normal machine

As long as you reinstall the same edition on the same hardware, you shouldn't run into licensing issues.

Deploy Windows to VHDX. Currently there's 10 boot slots to play around with for a single drive.

You can leave some feedback here if you want.

that has nothing to do with what i asked

Right, so install whichever vanilla edition of Windows they chopped up to make Ameliorated. It's not a 'real' edition from Microsoft, so the license you've got is for either Home or Pro (unless it's a bootleg Enterprise key).

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
