So I FINALLY got my PSAT scores

TopWargamer

We took the PSAT mooooonths ago and everybody else their PSAT results back mooonths ago, except for me. I never got mine for some reason...until the other day. Why? Who knows...but at least I FINALLY got them.

This was the first time I had to take the PSAT, so I dunno if my scores are average or good or what...so...if somebody could tell me, that would be great, hah.

:D

It says you did average in math, if not slightly below average, and that you did very well and definitely above average on reading and writing.

Yes, your overall score is average. The 51 percentile means 49% scored better than you.

Had to go dig mine up. You better than average for the reading and writing, and the math wasn't so bad considering you're being compared to juniors. I'm assuming you're a sophmore? If so you have nothing to worry about at all. You should be able to get into a college decently easily with the actual SAT if you study for math a little before hand. :)

I got a 72/75/62, but I ended up graduating as Valedictorian, so that should give you some reference. My speech had multiple Ash Ketchum quotes. Also sang part of the theme song... I miss high school.

Something funny that I've noticed is while my reading/writing scores are high (apparently), I don't really like to do either of those things. I absolutely hate reading books and find them to be the most boring thing ever and as for writing, depends on what I'm writing. I can usually tolerate writing a paper or something, but not a book. Oh nonono not a book. Spark Notes for life.

I have the SAT coming up in June. FMLLLLLLL

I don't understand why everyone complains about it. It was pathetically easy. The only problem is being stuck in the room for hours...

Trust me. If you learned anything at all in high school you'll do just fine.

This is awesome to hear. It's just that it's insanely weighted toward your future and can be nerve-wracking at times.

If I just study the PSAT packet I have and go over the SAT book, will I be good to go?
