Monitor has weird cluster of pixels that don't change color (it's growing every day)

Go to solution Solved by VIVO-US,

This is most likely from a very small crack at the edge of the LCD panel.  I saw this quite a few times back when we carried replacement laptop screens, and all we could do was throw them out because there's no fix for it.  The LCD panel or full monitor will have to be replaced.

My Samsung monitor has this strange "stain", it's like some pixels are stuck in a rather strange pattern. It's a white outline with grey / black / pinkish pixels in the center.

Does anyone know what this is? What's the solution?

Please be helpful and avoid "just buy a new monitor kek" comments

You most likely won't get many comments because the only true answer is to just get another monitor.  Sorry.

I mean if it is an expensive monitor you can usually replace the panel with an OEM for cheaper than replacing the monitor itself

unfortunately if you can't get used to it, your options are replacing the panel, or the whole monitor. usually replacing the panel is almost as expensive as a new monitor, sometimes even more surprisingly, worth a look though.

A hardware defect. So realistically the only answer is the one you don't want to hear.
