Loving the modular idea, watching the review by Hardware Canucks now.

Case caught my eye as well. I wonder if it'll be available in silver.

 

The base chassis would be a decent building block to shove into a PowerMac case for an ATX mod.

I'm curious if they can be stacked.  Attached to each other to create a tower of like 4 PC's.  Interesting.

It's available in silver... if you buy some paint.  😉

 

I'm also interested in it. I'm just not sure that I want to pay hundreds of dollars for something that I won't change after I find the best config.

Judging by the connectors and the removable panels, yes. 

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

What about that ComEZ Classico that recently popped up on eBay and now NewEgg? It comes in sizes iTX, mini-ATX and ATX, and has up to 12 3.5" bays and some 2.5" bays, too, all of which are removable.

 

It's not perfect but it's inexpensive. You'll want to ditch the fans, though.

I find it a bit frustrating that they're not publishing the cost of buying modules and panels, and the only prices I've seen for the basic and deluxe models outside of InWin are higher than InWin's price. I sure would like to get my hands on one to evaluate and review.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

for a few years now yt dont list price alot of time. could be in the deal i dont no or they just dont want to complane about price all the time... 🤷‍♂️ just watch j2cents spend $850 on an monoblock...
