Gaming pc 3,5k budget.

Go to solution Solved by Adept_Austin,

Okay, so a few changes. I'm not really sure on the monitor situation, so They're not included.

I've included a 64GB and 32GB kit. Both the same performance, so pick whichever you want although I don't see 64GB being needed for gaming. Production is another story. Also gave you a power supply with more power, same 80+ rating, and is the same tier as on the Cultist PSU Tier List. Other than that, All of these parts are top of the line, so there's not much left to advise on until the 14900K comes out. Is there anything you had questions about specifically?

You could also check out products like this one for extra RGB

Budget (including currency): 3,500£ can go over budget slightly. Not including monitor that one is sepqrate budget.

Country: UK.

Edited. Seeking genuine help.

First what I am looking for.

Build is supposed to be a lil overkill that's the whole point of building that pc.

Last time few years ago did overkill build from this forum and serves me till this day. Which I am really greatful.

I want it to be rgb never had one and decided I do want one.

I fell in love with the case after seeing reviews so would like to keep it.

Also want to stick to 4090 msi and probably keep the arctic aio same with intel cpu ( waiting for 14th gen release if they do it on 18th I will swap to 14900k and pucharase that ).

Lengthy post I know. I would like to include also 3 fans on bottom of the case preferably rgb ones will current lian li fit in there? I belive it would compliment build just dont know which ones to chose and if they will fit ( and is it wise to put them? Ive seen a lot of builds with total up to 10 fans and they look absolutely georgeus)

Also about ram . I would prefer g.skill ones probably heard they are better. Problem is I dont know if they would fit. And what is CL on ram? Did I chose good ones? If not which ones then if You dont mind telling me. Should I include Lian li strimer v2 cable as well you guys think? Picked 2x 2tb because they on sale for 87 quid each.

Build is below:

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/XenresEU/saved/RXNdqs

I will be using 2 monitors for this build alienware 1440p ultrawide 175 hz and 1440p msi one 165hz. Isnt 4090 overkill then? Mostly gaming/streaming. I wanna play on max settings in games on that resolution.

Bought storage already.

Please be patient with me 🙏

Uh...  £4400 PC and you're geting a non-overclockable CPU, even though you're buying an AIO and an overclocking capable motherboard? Are you sure you didn't mean for that to be a 13900K?

I'd say if you want to jump the gun today atleast get a 13900k. Only a couple bucks more and integrated graphics are so nice for trouble shooting the system should you need to do so.

Also, IMHO unifans only real strength is the daisy chain feature, so getting only one of them seems kind of wastefull to mee. If you go with one fan get something else like be quiet lightwings fan.

You're spending what feels like £700-800 too much... A lot of this stuff is just overkill. Hell even a 13700k might be overkill for gaming, I just watched a bunch of benchmark comparisons with a 4090 and the 13600kf doesn't even hit 70% usage. Probably even more true when overclocked.

All of your parts were added from parametric lists so it didn't feel like you were married to anything but the monitor, so I kept that and this PC is still a lot cheaper for what will be identical gaming performance.

If you've really got £4500 to spend on a gaming PC, idk man consider donating £700 to a charity or something lol. Or buy yourself like 200 cheeseburgers. This will perform basically the same.

Pucharasing parts today.

I own extra nvme to put into build thats why not including more.

Will hold on with ordering cpu only for 2 weeks to see if they release 14th gen.

Rig will run 2monitors at all time second one being 1440p 165hz

Few questions.

Maybe I should get extra fans for bottom of the case?

I know this Aio is massive would you go with this one or other one?

Biggest question for this rig is the monitor. Would you go with that one or other one? If other one which then?

Would you change anything @Why_Me?

build below:

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/HRnk9c

That's a monster build no doubt ^^

If you want almost identical performance at 4K then these few changes will save you a few quid while staying within two fps on average at that resolution.

Is your motherboard (if you prepurchase) compatible with the 14th gen CPU? If not, I wouldn't order that yet either.

64GB of RAM is kind of overkill, I'd probably drop that to 32GB and save yourself some money. IIRC you can also get 48GB kits.

Other than that it looks like a pretty top tier build, should be fun.

I read that they should fit that LGA. I know it is overkill but I usually build pc and want to have peace for 5+years.

RAM isn't something that will really need to be upgraded, even in 5 years. It's one of those things that isn't an overkill purchase (giving you more performance for longer), it's just a waste of money.

Okay, so a few changes. I'm not really sure on the monitor situation, so They're not included.
