Does The New Apple Screen Savers Use More Battery?

So, I recently upgraded to the new Sonoma software and saw that it came with some cool new backgrounds but they are live backgrounds when put to screen saver mode but when I am on the laptop just doing normal stuff it just acts as a wallpaper and stays still. But I wanted to know if this drains the battery more or puts more stress on the system in general?

use more battery than a "screen off" screensaver? yes.
