5800x3d underwolt

I want to underwolt my 5800x3d. My mbo is B550f gaminig Wifi II and DRAM is Fury Renegade 3600mhz(XMP). I can do it in BIOS...so..should i just go to PBO and set -30  all cores and PPT TDC and EDC...and then do stabilty tests? Is that it or do i need to do something more in BIOS?

Thanks

Download pbo tuner and do -30 on all cores (if it crashes do -25 and so on..)then use programs like occt for stability test, what is your cpu cooler?

yeah just because your bios can do it doesn't mean pbo2 isnt the better, easier option.

why deal with "quirky" and likely buggy bios if you can just press a few buttons in pbo2 tho?

Of course pbo2 is far easier.  you just type -30 and be done with lol.

ps: this is also due to my extensive experience with MSI bios tbf, whenever you change *anything* in them you're in for a rough time... so if going into bios is avoidable at all that'll be always preferable lmao 🤣

Interesting, I had no idea about that with MSI. Thanks 🙂
