Rolar powered rig (full time RV living)

LOTR

PC specs:

5700g

16 GB of ram

1TB nvme

650w psu

 

Use for games like sims 4 and cities skylines. I wanna get back to battlefield but not sure which gpu to get yet.

 

Solar specs:

1300 watts of solar

2560kwh of storage (goal is 10,240 kwh)

3000w pure sine wave inverter

 

Haven't had much time to build on it fit to building my solar first and just having a baby.

Something like a 4060 would be great for the efficiency metric on solar. The efficiency of that card is like the big (and pretty much sole) reason for buying it.

How's the performance? I also don't mind using 3000 series card either

As said above yea, 4060 is does have great efficiency. You could also lock the FPS to a certain value like 60 (30fps cause cities skylines struggles to get more than 20 anyway with a big city) to save yourself on the power. 

Could look at investing into a more efficient PSU and have it run at a more efficient power range.

What's the monitor like as well, new ones can be more efficient at displaying images compared to older models.

Also note, if you're goal is to get to 10kwh of battery storage, you'll likely want to add some more solar too. if you used 50% of that capacity in a night, 1300w is theoretically able to charge back to 100% in 4 hours under optimal conditions. But that's only if you actually get the full 1300w of your panels, and you don't use the system while it's charging.
