Should I install audio driver and LAN drivers ?

Hi, I want to reset Windows because my pc is slow.

Should I install audio driver and LAN drivers (motherboard website) ?

I always install this driver but I wonder if it's usless or not.

Yes, I install the chipset driver from the AMD website + nvidia driver.

Dependa in whether the drivers/driver versions included in Windows work for you. If they do, there's probably no benefit to installing these explicitly, but likely no harm either.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

I think it takes more than just audio and LAN drivers to improve your slow/sluggish PC

If you're on Windows 10/11, it already has automated driver installation based on your hardware

Plus, if you have your onboard motherboard app installed, it usually takes care of driver update as well

One of the great way to improve your PC, is by installing WinAero to take out unnecessary bloat (background process), the most notable ones are Ads tracking, Cortana, Search engine funciton on your Windows search bar, Telemetry, etc

Here I share LTT video on purging bloatware process for your reference

And if it still sluggish, purging your Windows is probably the best final way to do so, but just remember not to install bloatware to keep it squeaky clean and agile
