I finally recorded that sound my pc makes 2-3 times at week. i had an older pc with same HDD, all worked without sounds. i changed all other specs and started to do this.

msi pro b660m-a ddr4, i5 13600kf, 4070ti, 750W 80+ gold PSU.

seems the sound is coming from motherboard/CPU area, but not sure

That's a HDD - I'd bet money on it. Only other thing it would be is a fan

Your mobo doesn't even have a beeper. Unplug any speakers and if you still hear it - it's a moving part.

Something either got shifted when swapping or something is too loose - Good luck.

Why you recorded this with music playing in the background is beyond me.

Anyway, that's not some kind of "warning" beep, that's a mechanical sound.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.聽 If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

i didn't add the music, i was playing a low power pc game and at some point the sound started: usually doesn't last too long, so time i got the phone i instantly recorded it (usually last around 20-30 seconds) but that's the beeps.

with mechanical sound you mean only hdd or even other parts? could be, but i had the same hdd on the older pc, changed all other parts but used same hdd: before change, never sound, after some days, this sound appeared

8-10 years of experience in data forensics and advanced hardware repair, I'd bet a few hundred dollars on that sound being a HDD

HDDs will start making sound because they feel like it. There isn't a whole lotta reason to speculate why it started as it won't do you any good. That's a HDD making that sound regardless of the cause.
