"Tight on budget" means different things to different people, so why don't you give us an actual figure? 

 

But you could get basically any AM4 board currently on the market and it would work fine. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

More like under $100, could the A520M or B550M overclock the 5500?

There's no practical point in overclocking Ryzen 5000 chips.

 

That said yes any B550 board is capable of overclocking. A520 isn't I don't think.

Which one would you recommend since I want to turbo boost the CPU? In case no overclock
