Any good ATX3.0 PSU with white cables?

Hello 

 

I'm slowly building a white build. The black cables have become next issue on the list.

I currently have MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 850W , the PSU itself is alright but those black motherboard/gpu cables 

I checked out CableMod but the cost of swapping all cables to white ones is kinda high, might be cheaper to sell this one and get another PSU.

Are there any white PSU with atx3.0 or if there aren't maybe some upcoming models? I need at minimum 850W.

The CoolerMaster models are pretty much nonexistent . I only found them available in Australia of all places i'm from EU.

You got SFX-L compatible case? If not, don't. Using this on ATX case your cable is going to be nightmare because they're usually inherently shorter for it target demographic.

Theres not many white PSUs out there for some reason that fit your needs, however I did find some pretty good looking cables on amazon that aren't too expensive. not sure what cables you will need but amazon may be your best bet here if you're looking to save some money.

Ah damn i was not aware of this SFX-L thing. I got Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo set in reverse mode.

Um that's a really bad idea i think? From my understanding you need specific cables to each PSU if you plug like corsair cable to say seasonic you can fry system. That's why at CableMod you need to select your PSU when ordering cables to ensure they are compatible though i might be wrong though since i'm not an expert.

Its alright lol, I'm not either. You could just use the cables you have and buy extensions for them that are White if that's the case.

The one @Lardson linked was Extension Cable, it goes inbetween your included PSU cable & your motherboard/GPU. (Hence why it's Female on one end, and male on the other end)

 

What's dangerous is to use PSU cable (The one which other end plugs straight into the PSU) from other brand of power supply. (AFAIK, all of 'em are male on both end)

 

Although bad extension might cause big enough voltage drop, and the really bad one might be dangerous in it's own way.

Ah good to know. I'm gonna wait for that Thermaltake GF3 :). It ticks all the boxes and it's a reliable brand which didn't fail me till now

Says right on the PSU that it uses type 4 cables.

 

TBH, I'm unimpressed by the GF3, it was the first native 12VHPWR power supply I purchased and it would overheat and shutdown unless it had the fresh-est of air. Being it was incompatible with a FD Torrent unless you flipped it around without the top shroud.

Today in a local shop there came a sale on CableMod Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR Cable Extension Kit - White (CM-PCAB-16P3KIT-NKW-3PW-R).

They are only 25$ atm, seems like a fair price, especially since it's entire kit olf cables.

So i bought the  CableMod Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR Cable Extension Kit - White and i kinda feel like a moron. I thought there would be an extension of the 12VHPWR-12VHPWR  but instead there's 12VHPWR-3x8pin PCI-E.

So what i want to know is there any downside to using this 12VHPWR-3x8pin PCI-E vs regular 12VHPWR cable?
