I need advice for a new monitor. I have a 5800X3D + RTX 3070 PC that I use with a LG 32GQ850-B (240hz) which is a great monitor for 1440p. Now I just finished building a 7800X3D + RTX 4080 PC and I don't know what to do about the monitor. I know I can play games at 4K now but I don't know if I should. Is it better to push for 4K (with a Neo G7, Neo G8 or LG 32GQ950-B) even it means using DLSS on some cases or in the future when new and more demanding games hit the market or is it better to keep playing at 1440p with a great looking monitor (any of Alienware's OLEDs or the OLED G8) and ensure higher fps even in the future?

Things to consider:

I like to play single player games but I also play R6 Siege and MW2.

I like flat panels more than curved ones.

I also work a lot with documents (word) so I'm concerned about OLED burn-in. Is that something to really worry about?

Also, I could just by a decent 1440p monitor for the 3070 PC and keep the LG 32GQ850-B for the new one with the 4080.

What's the best option?

Thanks
