A 69 sum win-win solution for the Gamers Nexus vs Linus Tech Tips quarrel.

Every time LTT makes a mistake in a product review, Linus pays Steve $69. Every time Gamers Nexus makes a mistake in a product review, Steve pays Linus $69.

Only if Steve has to pay $420 whenever he calls out LTT and is proven wrong.

The problem I see is proving some of the more subjective accusations. Specific mistakes can be proven without doubt.

Why you want to make GN rich?

Yes. For the same reasons I wanted AMD to be rich before Lisa took the wheel.

Make it so that the money gets donated to charity.

Maybe everytime the pooled money reaches $6969

The Bend-Over Treaty ?

Then people will simplify it by calling it The BOT

Who knows, maybe then every youtube comment that says the word gets deleted by YT algo. 😛

The Bend-Over treaty ?

The problem with making it so they have to donate that money is that then Linus will think him making a mistake is like donating to charity. This is not good. It must hurt, and for it to hurt it must be helping the competition.

The Bend-Over treaty sounds rather unsavoury to me ears. Perhaps The Ben Dover treaty? The Dover treaty?

Making it $69 feels rather cringy dude bro territory. Just don't. It's not necessary and insensitive given the sexual assault allegations at LTT.

Discuss. We also need the name for this treaty.

Would $68 be OK?

USD. If this is a point of contention, we could make it AUD
