I don't like the fact that you're pairing a 13th gen Intel with DDR4 mobo. Kinda makes it pointless. If you're going to go DDR4 just get the 5800X3D for 50 EUR more and a compatible motherboard. It's signifficantly faster especially in games.

Ada is worse than Ampere which is worse than Fermi, change my mind.

Which mobo and cooler go well with that 5800X3D?

Look at B550 boards and choose one with the features that you like (usb ports, the way it looks, etc). Most CPU coolers are compatible with AM4.

How so?

Ddr4 is more than fine with a 13th gen and is a good bit cheaper still often.

So you think a 13500 is a better buy than a 5800X3D just to save 50 EUR? OP is paying the "new gen premium" without actually taking advantage of the new gen features is what I meant.

Never said anything about that. A 5800x3d is the better gaming pick here. Fully agree there.

5800X3D would perform similar until the 7600 hit the cache brick wall in simulation titles that can use it like Microsoft Flight Simulator and Kunos Simulazioni titles.
