It's a little over, but definitely worth it.

more cores doesn't mean better.

Intel uses stronger cores to achieve high performance.

AMD uses more cores to achieve high performance.

A 4130 will be better than the CPU on the Kaveri APU.

The Kaveri's are APUs (GPU and CPU), so it will run real hot and will not get as good performance as something like a 4130.

I have a good list, best option for budget will be amd.  I'm at work right now and obviously can't access newegg/ncix/amazon/etc.

CPU: AMD FX-6350 $120

Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Formula-Z $225

PSU: Corsair HX750 $130

GPU: EVGA GTX 760 FTW (2GB $269, 4GB $317)

Storage: WD Black 1TB $80

Ram: Corsair Vengeance PRO 2X 8GB

Optical Drive: Asus BC-12BST $58.00

All prices from Newegg, as you can see stuff like mice, keyboards, and OS I left out as that will ultimately be your decision but I also went over your budget once I got to storage so maybe shop around for better deals, maybe cut back and get a 750? or go with a 4GB 680 (I only have a ref. 2GB 680 and can play everything so far at max @ 1080p I started lowering once I hit 1440p).

But the motherboard at least in my opinion is the best for the AM3+ socket.

I'm Batman!
