Memory only running at 1333mhz

I need help i newly bought a pair of memory sticks 16gb and they are 1866mhz but they are only running at 1333mhz. I know there is something about dimm slot placements and dual channel things but i dont know how to figure this out!! please help me!!

 

btw im using an MSI m-power motherboard.

Go into your BIOS and set the RAM to XMP Profile 1. On a Z77 platform they default to 1333MHz

What he said, I didn't realize this until like a month after I built my PC... We all learn things ehh

I cant find where the XMP thing is on my BIOS! can you help me with taht?

The advanced section. Most likely the first option. Might say memory profile.
