Hello! I need help about building my worksation pc, but since i will be gaming too , need a strong gaming machine as well

Well i am looking for building a small compact matx build inreverse of the mac pro!

CPU: i7 4930K

mobo: rampage matx

ram: 32gb

 

and for gpu i am looking to get one gaming oriented and one/two worksation gpu

maybe a 780ti -which quadro ?

or a 290/x -which firepro?

 

I will be getting into video-editing some cad, simulations for airplanes , plane makers , game development, programming, staff like that?

adobe after effects,( staff like that

No the titan black has the computer performance that a quadro has, it is not a 780ti with more VRAM at all

 

A 780ti, is a titan black without compute performance

when i posted a topic again back in times they told me not to get a titan black i have the money ( my budget is 4000$-5000$) competitoe to the mac pro.

i WILL  be staring my own youtube acount and i will be doing some video0editing also a lot of simulatios of planes and plane makers

What you linked is a spec comparison, not a performance comparison.

 

Quadros have drivers that are specific to work applications, so they will perform better than GTX cards will. That's why Quadro cards exist.

if you are going for a workstation with slight gaming and not the other way around, get a Quadro. It might not be the best "Gaming" card, but it should be able to handle some games thrown at it. (ofcourse this depends on which quadro you get)

Depends if the applications you use ONLY use quadro/firepro cards. If so then that the only option. My brother  does cad and stuff to create 3d model car parts on his 2008 15" macbook pro, and edits footage from his DSLR etc

 

It depends how "workstation" you need to go. If you are going to buy something like a quadro, I would just get a Mac Pro and a seperate gaming desktop because te parts in the Mac Pro are HEAVILY discounted vs the cost to buy them new.

It doens't have to be, it's still a powerful card and can handle what he wants to do. If he needs one he can add a quadro or a firepro

If you compare the W8000 to the K4000 yes, but the W8000 also costs almost $2,000 while the K4000 costs around $700. A fair comparison would be the K4000 to the FirePro W7000, which perform very identically, so essentially you're picking between brands unless you need CUDA cores.
