So my friend asked me to build him a gaming PC that could play planetside 2 at least 30 frames per second so this is what i came up with.  I am most worried about the GPU but I thought it might work if he runs it r7 250 and Radeon HD 7560D.  If there's any way to save money please tell me because this is already stressing his budget.  Thanks for your help.

Use this build because Planet side 2 gets more from the GPU than the CPU, I have played it.

I think this one is the best option. The 6300 will help in a lot of games that are using more and more cores, plus the x4 is a little weak to begin with. The performance difference between the 265 and the 270 also is fairly small. This just seems more balanced to me.

Other than Battlefield 4 what games need more than 4 cores now?  planetside 2 runs fine on 2 cores, I know I use a 2 core cpu.

Watchdogs for one. It's not so much a matter of what needs it now, but what might need it in the next year. I just think the 6300 gives him a more balanced system, and it would be what I would buy if it were my money. He may see a little more performance out of the 270 than the 265, but not enough to justify the drop in CPU performance IMO.

A balanced system is one were the CPU will not bottleneck the GPU and vice versa. With a 6 core cpu the GPU will be the bottleneck and that is not good. Also at this price point you get WAY better performance with a Higher GPU than you will ever get for a CPU. You can have a 8 core CPU and if you GPU is to low you will get very poor FPS in games like Watchdogs.
