is this good speed for USB pen drive?

Hey guys.Got 2 of those,yeah hell, paid 2 of my daily incomes for this,but now I am secure for all the programs I want to put after Windows installation.

I guess a lot of spare space I will have at least for 512GB version.

I am having higher speeds then to compared to like regular SSD attached via SATA to USB adapter,or just plain SSD in PC?

What is an "average" SSD to you? This is a brilliant speed in the portable storage space.

It was bound to happen. SATA3 is limited to 600MB/s. It's a standard from 2009 built on the same designs from the year 2000.

Okay.Now I got it.I know that the limit is aorund 550/500 MBps but did not why.
I needed usb type A because I own older laptops who don't have type C.I guess over type C I could even reach higher speeds,correct?
Wanted to buy KIngston XS2000 but don't own type C except on MoBo.

You aren't planning on using these for long term storage are you? Pen drives aren't really meant for that.

Yes I do.Why is that?
Is there a software for regular monitoring of it's health?
