Sudden Drop in Frame Rate and Frame Skipping in Multiplayer Games

I usually get over 150 fps in games like overwatch and valorant (I have ryzen 5 1600 and rx 6600) but randomly, I started getting really low frame rates and a lot of frame skipping but only in multiplayer games while having less than 40 ping and 0% packet loss.

Here's what I tried so far:

  • Checking for viruses/Malware

  • Updating GPU driver and Windows

  • Cleaning out my pc for dust

  • Seeing CPU and GPU utilization

So far nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

how about your direct storage? for my past experiences my lag happened when my drive reaches 100% utilization or when my storage is almost full
